Submission Policy

One submission is one clip. Make a video, post it everywhere you list, and put those links in together. All the links have to be the same video.

• One clip, cross-posted to TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Instagram Reels
• The same clip additionally posted to any other platform you want to list

• Three different clips crammed into one submission. Send each one separately
• Links pointing at different videos or different edits

Short-form is what the program runs on. Long-form is fine too. You submit it differently, but it counts the same.

• Short-form cross-post: TikTok + YouTube Short + Instagram Reel. All three links required, reviewed together as one entry.
• Long-form YouTube: a single longer video submitted on its own, with no other platform links required. Counts toward your weekly quota and earns the same XP as a short-form submission.

• A short-form submission missing any of the three required platforms

You get a creator banner when you claim your code after your first submission. From then on every submission has to credit us, and how you do that depends on the format. Your first submission is the exception, since you will not have the banner yet.

• Your banner on screen for at least 5 seconds, in every submission
• Short-form: the banner, plus a comment on the post saying "I play on Icefuse servers" or better
• Long-form: the banner, plus any ONE of the four options below
• Long-form option A: the in-game server info text showing top-left, which the server adds automatically. Leave it enabled
• Long-form option B: a pinned comment with Icefuse Networks and a link to icefuse.com
• Long-form option C: Icefuse Networks in the video title
• Long-form option D: Icefuse Networks and a link to icefuse.com at the top of the description

• The banner flashing up for less than 5 seconds, or buried where nobody sees it
• Long-form with none of the four options above
• Short-form missing either the banner or the comment

We are not expecting a masterpiece every week. The bar is that there is something in the clip worth watching and that it is not painful to look at.

• Funny, interesting, or unique moments
• Watchable footage and audio you can actually hear
• Content clearly recorded on an Icefuse server
• Reposting a clip you submitted before, once a month has passed

• Lazy or low-quality footage
• PvP montages with nothing else going on. A montage is fine if something in it stands out.
• Resubmitting the same clip within one month of its previous submission

Weeks start Monday at 00:00 UTC. You need one submission in every week you want to stay active.

• Submitting early in the week. A pending submission counts straight away
• Submitting more than once in a week if you want to; the extras still earn XP

• Banking ahead. Several videos in one week does not cover next week. Every week needs its own clip.

Staff review every submission. A pending one already counts for the week, so waiting on a decision never costs you.

• Fixing a denied submission and sending it back. The reason is on your dashboard
• Switching a denied submission between short-form and long-form if the reviewer asked you to

• Editing a submission after it has been approved

Miss a week and your in-game perks pause. That is all that happens. You keep your level, your XP, and your spot in the program.

• Posting a new video to lift a hold. Perks come back within about a minute

• Claiming your creator kit while on hold. You lose the group until you post again.

While you are in the program your content reflects on us. Anything that damages the community can get you removed, however good it is and whatever level you are.

• Playing on other servers and featuring that in your videos
• Making content for games and communities outside Rust

• Holding a creator or partner role with another server community while in our program
• Making content on behalf of another network
• Content that breaks the platform rules of the site you post it on
• Harassment, hate speech, or targeting individual players
• Advertising competing servers in submitted content
• Misrepresenting the network or its staff
